Facebook Post Sync allows you to automatically import your existing Facebook posts into Social Planner. Once enabled, your recent posts and their performance insights will sync into the Planner and Statistics sections, giving you a complete view of your social activity in one place.

This feature helps agencies and businesses track historical content without manually recreating posts.


Prerequisites

Before using Post Sync, make sure:

  • Your Facebook account is connected to Social Planner

  • You have admin access to the Facebook Page you want to sync

  • You have access to the Social Planner module


Method 1: Enable Post Sync While Connecting a Social Account

You can enable Post Sync directly while connecting your Facebook account.

Steps

  1. Go to Marketing → Social Planner

  2. Click Connect Socials

  3. In the Connect Socials popup, enable the toggle: Sync Posts Automatically

  1. Click Connect to finish linking your account

Once enabled, Social Planner will begin syncing your recent Facebook posts automatically.


Method 2: Enable Post Sync from Social Planner Settings

If your Facebook account is already connected, you can enable Post Sync later.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Marketing → Social Planner

  2. Open Settings


3. Locate your connected Facebook Page

4. Enable the toggle Sync Posts Automatically

The system will start syncing posts in the background.


What Happens After Enabling Post Sync

Once Post Sync is enabled:

  • Social Planner fetches Facebook posts from the last 30 days

  • Posts appear in:

    • Planner

    • Statistics

  • Sync runs automatically in the background

  • Post insights refresh every 24 hours

This ensures your social data stays up to date without manual actions.


What Gets Synced

The following data is imported:

  • Post text

  • Images

  • Videos

  • Basic post analytics

Posts are synced with their original publish date, allowing accurate historical reporting.

  • Keep your Facebook account connected and authorized

  • Avoid removing page permissions

  • Wait for the initial sync to complete before reviewing data

3. What happens if my Facebook account disconnects?
If your Facebook connection expires, syncing will pause. You’ll see a reconnect prompt in Social Planner simply reconnect your account to resume syncing.


4. Can I disable Post Sync later?
Yes. You can turn off the “Sync Posts Automatically” toggle anytime from Social Planner settings. This will stop future syncing but will not delete already imported posts.
