What is the Built-In Image Editor in Media Library?
The Built-In Image Editor is a lightweight, on-screen workspace embedded in the Media Library. It focuses on essential adjustments that marketers and teams routinely need, helping you prep images right before publishing without downloading files or opening third‑party apps. The editor opens from any image in the Media Library after you click Edit, rendering a modal with tools for crop, rotate, flip, brightness, and contrast, plus undo/redo and save options.

How To Use the Built-In Image Editor
Follow these steps to edit from any supported module:
Step 1: Open the Edit Modal
- Click on Media Storage from your sub-account.
- Or open any Media Library supported module like Social Planner and click on Upload from Media Storage.
- Hover on the image you want to edit and click on the three dots on the top right corner.
- Click on Edit.
Step 2: Edit an Image
- Crop an image using custom aspect ratio or pre-set aspect ratios.
- You can also flip an image horizontally or vertically.
- Apply Filters to the image from a wide range of options.
- Make Adjustments to the image like brightness, contrast, saturation, and blur.
- Add Text to the image and customize the Font Family, Font Size, Alignment, Font Color, Background color, and Line Spacing.
- Add Stickers in the form of Emojis or Shapes and adjust its Opacity and Color.
- Use the Brush to draw on the image and adjust Brush Hardness, Size, and Color.
- Use the Undo and Redo icons to reverse or reapply the previous actions.
- Click on Save, name the image and you can also choose to Save to Folder.
- Click on Save to store it to the Media Library as a new image.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is the editor available in the mobile app?
Not yet. The feature currently targets desktop. Edits made on desktop are visible on mobile once saved.
Q: Which file types can I edit?
Supported image formats are PNG and JPEG.
Q: Can I bulk edit multiple images at once?
Not currently. Open and edit images one at a time.
