Overview of Analytics for Forms and Surveys
Analytics for Forms and Surveys provides an at-a-glance and in-depth look at how your forms and surveys perform. From high-level trends (views, responses, completion) to survey slide-level drop-off, these insights help you pinpoint friction and make changes that drive more completions.
Key Benefits of Form & Survey Analytics
Understanding form/survey analytics and where users drop off guides faster, smarter decision making.
Visibility Into Results: See total views, responses, average completion time, completion rate, and (for surveys) drop-off percentage at a glance
Comparison Over Time: Analyze performance changes with previous-period comparisons to confirm trends and spot anomalies
Diagnosis & Fix Drop-Offs: Identify where respondents abandon surveys with drop off rates broken
down per slideFlexibility In Filters: Filter by a specific form/survey, time period or aggregate across all results; giving you the granular control needed to find the most valuable information
Available Filters and Metrics
Use filters to focus on the exact asset and timeframe you care about, then read the on-screen metrics to understand engagement, completions, and where users drop off. Pairing the right filters with the right metrics helps you pinpoint issues and validate improvements quickly.
Available Filters
Type Selector: Choose the type of asset to include in the metrics (top-left dropdown).
Asset Selector: Choose All or a specific Form/Survey from the dropdown to further filter your results
Date range: Pick a preset (Last 7/14/30/60/90 days) or define a Custom range to include in your results
Available Metrics
Total views: How many times the selected form or survey was viewed within the chosen date range
Responses: The number of completed submissions recorded for the selected asset and date range
Average time: The average time respondents took to complete the survey or form
Completion Rate: The percentage of respondents who finished the form or survey followed by a comparison to the completion rate to the immediately preceding, equal-length time period (e.g., Last 14 days vs the prior 14 days)
- Total Views: A line chart of Total views over the selected date range to help spot increases or declines
- Per-Form/Survey Breakdown: A table of Total Views per Form/Survey to compare performance across multiple assets. This breakdown is not shown when a single form is selected
- Survey Views: Only available for Surveys and only when a single survey is selected in the filter
Slide View: The step within the survey metrics refer to
Views: How many respondents reached that slide
Drop-Off: How many exited on that slide (Count followed by the percentage). Use this to identify slides that should be improved and tested

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How is the “previous period” comparison determined?
It compares your selected date range to the immediately preceding, equal-length period (e.g., Last 14 days vs the prior 14 days).
Q: Why is the per-form/survey breakdown missing?
The per-form/survey breakdown appears only when viewing All forms/surveys. Selecting a single asset hides the aggregate breakdown.
Q: I selected a survey but don’t see the per-slide analysis table. Why?
The slide analysis appears only when a single, specific survey is selected. If you’re on All surveys, switch the asset selector to the exact survey to view Slide, Views, Drop-off, and Drop-off rate.
Q: What analytics types can I choose in the top-left dropdown?
You can select Forms or Surveys. The dropdown also includes other types (funnels, websites, QR codes, blogs)
