Use Kanban View in Opportunities

The Kanban view in Opportunities helps you visualize and manage deals across different stages of your pipeline.

You can customize how this view looks and behaves—making it easier to focus on the deals that matter most.

What You Can Do

• Collapse and expand pipeline stages

• Resize columns to prioritize important stages

• Sort opportunities using default and custom fields

• Customize your view without affecting other users

• Automatically save your layout preferences

Collapse or Expand Stages

1. Go to Opportunities

2. Make sure you are in Kanban view

3. Click on any stage header ( > or < ) to collapse or expand it

Collapsing stages helps reduce clutter, especially in pipelines with many stages.

Resize Stage Columns

1. Hover over the edge of a stage column

2. Drag the divider left or right to resize the column

This allows you to give more space to active or high-priority stages.

Sort Opportunities

• Click on the Sort option at the top of the Opportunities page
• Select a field you want to sort by (including custom fields)
• 
  
• Choose ascending or descending order
• Your opportunities will be instantly reordered based on the selected field

Supported fields include:

• Default fields (e.g., Created On, Last Updated)

• Custom fields such as Single Line, Multi Line Text, Dropdown, Radio Select, Number, Monetary, Phone, and Date

Sorting helps you quickly prioritize deals based on value, recency, or any business-specific data.

Reset Column Size

• Double-click the column divider to reset it to its default size

Saved Layout Preferences

• Your collapsed/expanded stages and column sizes are saved automatically

• Preferences are stored locally (browser-based)

• Changes apply only to your view and do not affect other users

Tips

• Collapse inactive or rarely used stages to keep your pipeline clean

• Expand and widen active stages to track deals more easily

• Adjust your layout based on your daily workflow
